A Psalm of the sons of Korah. A Song.

1 His ^afoundation is in the holy mountains.
2 The Lord ^bloves the gates of Zion
More than all the other dwelling places of Jacob.
3 ^cGlorious things are spoken of you,
^dCity of God. Selah
4 “I shall mention ^{▼▼I.e., Egypt, as a sea monster; not to be confused with Rahab in Joshua 2
,} ^fRahab and Babylon ^{▼▼Or as}among those who know Me;
Behold, Philistia and ^hTyre with ^{▼▼Or Ethiopia
,} ^jCush:
‘This one was born there.’”
5 But of Zion it will be said, “This one and that one were born in her”;
And the Most High Himself will ^kestablish her.
6 The Lord will count when He ^lregisters the peoples,
“This one was born there.” Selah
7 Then those who ^msing as well as those who ^{▼▼Or dance
,} ^oplay the flutes will say,
“All my ^psprings of joy are in you.”
